Why SIPs Make a Better Lodge.

What Are SIPs

Warmer and Quieter

Warmer and quieter than traditional timber frame, for a calmer, more comfortable stay.

Bookable All Year

Exceptional airtightness and insulation keep lodges comfortable in every season.

Low Running Costs

A highly insulated envelope means less energy spent keeping the lodge warm.

Big Spans, Big Glazing

Structural strength allows vaulted ceilings, wide openings and large areas of glazing.

Fast, Weather-Tight Build

Factory-precise panels go up quickly and make the lodge weather-tight fast on site.

Built to Last

Durable, long-lasting construction that supports resale and letting value.

Turnkey, From Brief to Handover.

It depends on the design, planning and your site. Because panels and components are made in our workshop, the on-site build is fast and weather-tight. Site assessment and design each typically take around two weeks; manufacture and installation depend on the lodge, and we set out a full programme at quote stage.

Yes. The 40ft x 13ft two-bedroom lodge is our signature layout, and other sizes and layouts are designed to your brief: bedrooms, roof style, cladding, glazing, finishes and decking can all be tailored.

Most lodges need planning permission, and holiday-use occupancy conditions are common. We'll help you understand your route and can introduce you to planning specialists.

Our lodges are built for four-season comfort, with the insulation and airtightness of the SIP envelope keeping them warm and stable year-round. How often a lodge can be occupied may also depend on its planning conditions.
